It has been a while since I have read a book that holds my interest and this one did. Do yourself a favor and read this book. You will not be disappointed. Captivating!! Mel, I need the second book lol
Seriously. I finished it in a matter of a day because I simply refused to put it down until I was done with it. I may not have gotten anything else done that day, but it was worth it. Most of all, I enjoyed how engaging this book is throughout. I never felt bored of the story at any point, nor did I ever have a desire to skip pages to move ahead. Mel keeps her descriptions informative and detailed enough where you can get a good grasp on the subject, but entertaining and brief so that you don't lose focus or interest at any point. I can't wait for the next book!
I just finished reading Earth's Magick and couldn't wait to write a review. I have never read a book with this subject matter so I was a bit skeptical at first. Well, I'm so glad I read it! What a fantastic book! It is so well written and the author describes the characters and the magic so it's easily understood. I was never bored with the story as sometimes happens. I was so engrossed in the story of Mela that I found myself wishing I could be there with her and meet her new friends. Many times when there is to be a sequel to a book, you feel let down at the end of the first book. Almost like the story just stopped and you find yourself irritated that you have to wait. I didn't feel that with this at all. The way it ends you feel satisfied yet ready to find out more. I whole-heartedly recommend this book to everyone! I also really hope this one day becomes a movie!
