Ben Maloney was a highly respected and decorated homicide detective in Los Angeles County. Setup on phony charges by the evil sheriff, Ben is forced to resign. He takes a job with the Kern County Sheriff's Department, and is assigned to the small desert community of Ridgecrest. The small Sheriff's Department is nicknamed "the outpost," because of its remote location.
A serial killer is depositing the naked, mutilated bodies of Los Angeles hookers outside of town. The bodies are suspended 100 feet of the ground on the high tension power lines that run through the desert. Ben must determine how the bodies got there without any clues. Then he has to find out who is responsible for the grizzly ritualistic killings.
