Product Description
Dan’s life is thrown into disarray when he meets a mythical dryad, posing as strange young woman, who steals away his heart and upsets the equilibrium of his family life. Having been split from their gods, the dryads have become gritty, urbanised and self-sufficient, devising ingenious ways to try and coax their gods back down to Earth. In the meantime, Dan’s wife, Anya, is struggling with her own demons, getting caught up in the radical ministrations of her tree-loving friends. Only the worst imaginable outcome brings them both to the brink of self-destruction and to examine the family’s struggle with their own differences. The family unit is under threat, but is lost and then found with the interaction of the dryads acting as a catalyst for change.
